Launched in 2022, Air Ambulance Rewards (AAR) is a website dedicated to those people who help to fund their local air ambulance. Our aim is to save each of these donors more money per month via discounts and rewards.

Air Ambulance Donations

Across The UK there are 21 air ambulance charities operating 37 helicopters that carry out vital lifesaving missions each and every day. These charities are heavily reliant on donations from the public to be able to operate and due to the unheralded bravery of helicopter pilots and the skill and ability of paramedics and doctors to assist people in their hour of need, they are amongst the most highly regarded local charities.

Air Ambulance Rewards was founded by Richard Wild in 2022. Prior to the pandemic, Richard spent 5 years working alongside these charities building up their number of donors. In meetings with the charities, it was always a hot topic of discussion about finding a way to reduce the number of donors who cancelled their subscriptions. Following some important time spent with his young family, in early 2022 the concept of AAR was born as a way of reducing these cancellations and thus increasing the amount of money to the local air ambulance.

The average donor pays between £4 and £10 a month to their local air ambulance, so if AAR can save the donor more than this each month, why would they cancel their subscription?
